Sol Cosmopolitan Rhodes

Have had an amazing week away. Staff were fantastic cannot do enough for you, Food great plenty of choice. Spotlessly clean hotel. Katerina at the bar amazingly helpful, restaurant staff also very helpful. Great hotel for all. Animators are the best. So funny events and friendly staff. The food and drinks were so delicious. Beautiful swimming pools and parties. So comfortable beds and pillows. I was so happy to was there and I will have this in my plan for next vacation.

Fantastic 10 day holiday at Sol Cosmopolitan. The entertainment team led by Leslie were amazing. They all worked so hard and attempted to get holidaymakers to join in activities, not always an easy task. External entertainment bought into the hotel was of a very good standard. Sometimes it was difficult to get a seat in the lounge. Food was very varied and we always found it very tasty. The cakes and pastries were particularly tasty, unfortunately for the waistline 😅. Staff in all areas we found really helpful and pleasant. Everywhere was exceptionally clean, if a little tired in some areas. We enjoyed the location of the hotel and would like to return in the future.

Brilliant location, lovely friendly staff, very clean. We had rooms in the main building, sea views, rooms were basic but clean, spacious with very comfi beds. The restaurant has plenty of food however it’s a bit average. Pizza oven very popular. Overall the hotel is in need of some TLC, it’s a bit tatty in areas. If I were to compare to other 4* hotels I have stayed in I would rate this one 3*. However as I’ve said, you cannot fault the staff. Just 15 mins from the airport and 10 mins from Old Rhodes Town which is well worth a visit.

We came the second week of May and the weather wasn’t the best, quite windy but also warm enough to tan. The hotel is right near the beach front so not sure if this is why it’s extra windy. The hotel itself is a really nice complex, two large pools, and two children’s pool including a pirate ship with small slides. The staff are all super friendly, very good with the kids and always happy to help. There is an on site shop with all your needs, the people working in there are also lovely. The restaurant has a good variety of foods every night and the all inclusive drinks include Pepsi/pepsi max and sprite on tap which was a nice touch. We had a family room which is pretty basic but big enough and did the job we needed. It had one large double bed and two single beds put together across two rooms. We did unfortunately get a horrible stomach bug whilst in the hotel and was wiped out for three days, however, we did notice the cleaners ramped up their efforts when they realised a bug was going around the hotel. We had some issues with the car hire company who sit in the main reception refusing to give our deposit back because we were ill. It wasn’t until we contacted the company that they told the lady to give us our money back and an apology which we accepted. The car company next to the on site shop is actually a lot cheaper so I do reccomend going there if you are to hire a car. The beach is a five minute walk and the hotel has its own deck chairs for use. This is a pebble beach. The old town is €15 from the hotel. I do recommend getting a car to explore the island if possible. Overall a pleasurable stay and worth the money, one of the better 4 star hotels I’ve stayed in.

I can highly recommend this hotel for a perfect holiday stay. The reception staff is very friendly, kind and helpful. The food is great. Cleaning services are brilliant too. Amazing view, beach across the road. Everything positive. Thank you for everything.
