Noise, noise noise....
I decided to try it out instead of staying in North Adelaide. I asked for a quiet room and was given a 6th floor room directly facing the big intersection at Elder Rd. Even though double glazed, the huge wall of glass did little to dampen the 24 hour barrage of truck, bus, motorcycle and hoon car noise from the busy intersection. I tried to swap to an inner atrium facing room and found they are just as noisy with noise from the downstairs bar. Doors to rooms have no door seals and the badly adjusted door closers slam them shut. I hardly slept and will not be returning.

This new hotel is beautifully presented with wonderful and comfortable furnishings. Views are pleasant and enjoyable. Little things need some fine tuning as overall it was a good stay but a few minor hiccups kept it from a great stay. As a local, it was a lovely experience after watching it be built.

I recently stayed at Crowne Plaza Mawson Lakes, booking 3 standard rooms for myself and 2 mates in Adelaide for a Tenpin Bowling event. This is a fairly new hotel and I have to say that it is our go to hotel from now on. The rooms were really impressive, a great size and with comfortable beds. The truly outstanding feature of this hotel is the staff, everyone welcomed us and were genuinely warm and friendly, from the reception staff and at the restaurant, it really made our stay. Within walking distance of cafes and shops, you will love staying here.

This is a great hotel and highly recommended for those with business in the area instead of staying in the city. Staff a friendly and very accommodating, the hotel appears basically brand new. Great location to restaurants, ALDI, Woolies, and train station. All are easy walking distance (under 1km). Gepps X homemaker village is minutes away if urgent purchases are required. There is ample parking on site. Although this is situation next to the Parafield airport, I don't remember hearing any noise from the planes. The train is about a 20 min trip into the city. Breakfast buffet is excellent. A wide selection to choose from. The property is kept very clean. The rooms are well appointed with fridge, coffee machine (old nespresso style pods), great aircon, well lit walkways with motion sensor lighting, and I never heard anyone next door despite people being on both sides. I'd hope to return when the situation arises.

The light was not working whole trip even after complaining and even after purchasing breakfast i had to say everyday at restaurant that breakfast is included . I told that its main light that is not working but no one fixed it in 4 days. Not helpful at all

Fantastic service on arrival from Marianne, every other staff member was welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. But not overbearing. Great people. Rooms are spotless, food, coffee and bar not to be faulted. Its new which is always nice, already my second visit and will book again.
