Shangri-La is located in the northwestern part of Yunnan Province, China. This area is at a higher altitude, with an average elevation of about 3,300 meters. Shangri-La is a name full of mystery, which not only represents a real place but also symbolizes an ideal utopia. The white space is like a treasure of Ritz-Carlton, quietly blooming at the north gate of the ancient city of Duichuang, which is one of the best-preserved ancient cities in China. The white space is only 10 minutes away from the high-speed railway station and airport, 20 minutes away from Napa Haiyi grassland by car, and 15 minutes away from Songzanlin Temple by car. Free parking is available at the door. It is convenient for travel. It carries all our burning dreams in Shangri-La. We have 23 rooms, including king-size beds, double beds, family suites, duplex suites, and so on, to meet the accommodation needs of different groups of customers. In the white space, it is your rest area in a foreign land, which can help you unload all the fatigue in the city.
Cars unable to go right to the hotel, but they will provide a Mercedes van to pick you up.
Room is spacious and well equipped.
Got two bottles of soft drinks and small snacks, nuts, fruits and ginger tea included.
Location wise, although a mere 10mins walk to the square, but actually quite tedious due to the cold and upslope.
Overall my two nights stay is wonderful.
VVy Anh NguyenThis is by far the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to China. The hotel is equipped with all modern amenities, especially the toilet with an automatic bidet (something that’s not found anywhere else in China). The room was incredibly cozy with modern heating facilities, and the host even provided an oxygen machine (though I didn’t actually need to use it). I truly felt that it was worth every penny for the two nights I spent here.
One of the highlights was the adorable and friendly Ragdoll cat that lives here! The hotel owner even allowed us to bring the cat into our room to play, and it was just so sweet and playful.
Moreover, the host offered us a free pick-up and drop-off service at both the train station and the airport, even though it was 7 in the morning! I honestly have no complaints about this hotel. If you want to enjoy a fantastic stay in Shangrila, book this hotel now!
JJudy MuinWe were given room upgrade and staff even pick us up from the entrance of dukezong ancient town using small vehicle. However we don't know how to adjust the heater for the room but luckily the bed has heat pad to keep us warm. The Guesthouse also provide traditional costume n makeup for cheaper fee than outside vendor.
ゲゲストFeifan Hotel is conveniently located in Shangri La Old Town (Dukezong) and is fully accessible by car/taxi, which can drop you off right in front of the hotel. The hotel is tastefully decorated, paying homage to the town's Tibetan's roots, which is what makes the hotel very charming to me. The room itself is very clean comfortable to stay in, the amenities and kits provided are more than plentiful. The floors in front of the bathroom are also heated, which is very surprising (I wasn't expecting that). The loveliest aspect of my stay would have to be the kind hotel staff who were very helpful and welcoming to us starting from our arrival (the cups of warm tea was very relieving during the cold night). A couple of hotel staff members can converse in English, which was very helpful for us as we are foreign tourists. I appreciated the conversations I had with a staff member during breakfast about the various foods that was on offer. I also appreciated the little gift that was given to us when we checked out as the hotel staff seemed to notice that I did enjoyed several cups of butter tea during my breakfast and the help with arranging a car to transport us to the train station. Overall, I am very impressed with our stay here and would not hesitate at all to recommend anyone to stay here. It is worth it!
